Right now, you probably do not realize the food you are eating could be making your gout worse and cause it to last longer.

By eating certain types of food, and not listening to you doctor when they give you a list of gout food to avoid, you could be making your gout more painful.

With that said, there are some gout food to avoid if you want to stay away from pain. We can’t see anyone who would choose pain over food, so you should pay attention to this article. Yes, we know this is going to restrict those foods you eat a bit and it may be bad when your favorite food is eliminated from your diet, but as we said, you will have less pain.

Having gout can be very painful and it is not something that is fun to deal with. You should make sure you stick with a diet that is low in protein.

When you eat foods that are high in protein, you will higher you chance of getting a gout attack. Those foods you should avoid are seafood, dark meat, red meat and fish. You will also need to stay away from animal organs, such as mussels, liver, heart and even sausages.

Apart from all we have listed in the above paragraph, you will need to stay away from salmon, shellfish, anchovies, scallops, dark fish fillets and sardines.

Some of the other foods you will need to avoid are those foods that are high in purines. Purines are only known to make gout worse. This means you will need to stay away from spinach, mushrooms, radishes, cauliflower and asparagus.

The foods we just listed will raise the amount of uric acid that is in your body. This will crystallize those joints, which will cause you even more pain.

You should also stay away from those foods that are high in carbohydrates. This involves yeast, oatmeal, whole wheat breads and wheat bran. This is because they will higher your acidity level in your body and would make the painful gout attack last even longer.

The last thing you want is to go through a painful gout attack. There are a lot of foods that can higher your risk of getting gout.

There are also other foods that can make your go through more pain and cause the attack to last longer. Now that we have told you a list of gout food to avoid, we believe you should look at a list of non-gout foods to eat.

My knee swells some times but dont get any pain in it i can walk do most things and the dotor says i have gout want to no can you get gout with out the pain as this has been going on for about 3 year
